Le récit de Margaux et Mathieu:

    I.        Last Sunday, we woke up at 4 : 30 am to take the plane at 6 : 50 am.

We went to Frankfurt and we met the Germans and the Italians. The flight was 1 hour and a half long. And then we arrived at Helsinkys airport. The flight was 2 : 50 hours long. Then we went to Riistina by bus, and we met our penfriends. Margaux : Mine is so gentle. My penpal is Jessica. She’s 16 years old.

I ate meat and potatoes.

Mathieu : In the evening I ate juste a little and i went to bed early .

 II.        On the following day we woke up at 6 : 45 am. We had breakfast. We went to school. We met Polish, Finnish, Turkish, German and Italian students.

In the morning, we played different games, we learnt just little Finnish. Then we had lunch and we visited the school. We danced with every student from the Comenius project.

Margaux : I played basket ball with my penfriend. We went to Sarah’s House and we watched Gastby in english.

Mathieu : In the evening I spoke with my host family, I ate fish and I played poker.

III.        On Tuesday, we had workshops on water quality at school with other Comenius students.

In the afternoon, we visited the water purification plant and the kenkövevo. It’s a tourist site. It’s an old vicaroge. We had 3 hours for shopping in Mikkeli.

Mathieu : In the evening, I played PS3 and poker, I ate fish.

Margaux : I ate in a Mexican restaurant with Jessica and other Comenius students.

In Finland the night is 4/5 hours long.

 IV.        On Wednesday, We did 5 activities :

·         Music, where we sang  « vainö on »

·         We did handicrafts, we did whoolball

·         Sport: and we played traditional Finnish games

·         Art :  we drew fish

·         Technology: we built a pigeons’ cage

In the afternoon, we went to Astuvansalmi rock paintings by boat. It was very funny ! Back home, we enjoyed a sauna, it was very hot, 80-100°.

    V.        On Thursday, we attended 3 lessons : cooking, music and maths. The Finnish start the lessons at 8 am and finish at 3pm. The students attend 4/5 lessons every day.

Then we visited the national park in Repoveri.

Mathieu : In the evening, I ate lasagne and I played poker.

Margaux : I watched hunger games 2 with my penpal

 VI.        On Friday, we attended one lesson with our penpal. Later we visited the plywood factory in Pollosnienri. After we played Finnish baseball (Mathieu kicked the ball very far) after we ate salmon, potatoes and carrot soupe. In the afternoon we did the tour of Riistina. We saw the church and castle ruins. After we came back in our hostfamily’s house to change clothes for the farwell party. There, we watched the Finnish, Italian and Turkish dances. After we watched videos on Turin and we went to the gymnasium to dance.

VII.        On Saturday, we left Riistina at 2 pm. We landed at 10 : 30 pm in Lyon airport.

It was a very intersting week ! It was a really, extraordinary journey because the Finland is so amazing.

Mathieu : I really like the Finnish baseball and the national park.

Margaux : I liked very much the national park, shopping in Mikkeli and the Italians because they are so crazy and friendly.

The trip in Finland was really very great.

We had to be at st.Exupery airport at 5.30 a.m. We landed at Helsinki at 1.00 p.m. We had to take the bus during 2 hours to be in Ristiina. When we arrived we met our host family.

On Monday morning we had to do the presentation of the different schools and we played some games too.  After we attended Finnish lessons and after we had lunch. At 12.00 p.m we visited the school and we had a dance lesson. Later we went back home.

On Tuesday morning we worked on the privatization of water. After lunch we visited Mikkeli and a water purification plant.

On Wednesday we did some workshops. After lunch we went on a boat to see the rocks paintings. Then we went back to the family.

On Thursday we attended lessons at school. It's very different from our school. After lunch we went by bus in the National Park in Repovesi. At 3.00 p.m we ate sausages. It was delicious. Then we returned to the bus. 

On Friday we visited a wood factory. It was a little boring because the man spoke for a very long time!!! We came back to school and we played Finnish baseball. After lunch we visited the village like the church ..... Later we had a party. It was really great. At 10:00 p.m the party finnished.

On Saturday at 2.00p.m  we took the bus to go to the airport. Around 10:30 p.m we arrived in France!!

It was really great !! Thank you for this beautiful trip !!
